Custom-designed monuments

It is one of the ways to emphasize the identity and uniqueness of those who have left.

“Glasstone” glass sculptures for monuments

UAB “Akrolita” is the sole official representative of “Glasstone” glass sculptures in Lithuania

We offer our clients the opportunity to incorporate unique glass sculptures, created in Latvia, into custom-designed monuments.

Glasstone” is a studio founded by glass sculptor Ernests Vītiņš (Ernest Vitin) that creates original memorial sculptures. Each piece is designed individually, so it can serve not only as part of a monument but also as a work of art that conveys a personal story or symbolism.

The sculptures are crafted from specially processed layers of glass that are bonded together. The transparency of the glass, its edges, and the refraction of light give the work a unique sense of depth—as the lighting changes, the sculpture reveals itself in ever-changing ways. Great attention is paid to the quality of the glass, its processing, and the technology used to bond the layers, ensuring that the sculptures are suitable for long-term outdoor use.

Properly crafted and installed glass sculptures do not require complex maintenance. “Akrolita” ensures that the sculpture harmonizes with the granite, the monument’s structure, and the overall design of the gravesite, so that the glass becomes an integral and durable part of the entire memorial.

INDIVIDUALITY

Design according to individual vision

We strive to ensure that our work is never repetitive. This shapes the credibility and reputation of our company – each individually created monument is proof that we value creativity, originality, and responsibility towards our clients' expectations.

Even if the client chooses a design direction that has already been used, we add new elements to it – nuances of form, subtleties of line, or decorative solutions. In this way, even similar monuments become unique and recognizable only to the person who creates added value for both you and us.

MATERIAL OPTIONS

A variety of materials – the basis for unique design

Each type of stone has its own unique character, which is why the material often becomes a symbolic choice for creating individual designs. Different patterns and textures allow the monument to become not only a memorial, but also an aesthetically appealing work of art.

When choosing the material, you can combine different color tones – from rich black granite to light gray or even reddish stone slabs. The variety of natural textures and colors ensures that the monument created will not only be durable, but also unique, as there is simply no such thing as an identical stone.

FAQ

Every grave site design is unique, so a more accurate price is determined after an initial consultation. During this consultation, we discuss the dimensions and location of the grave site, whether it is a new grave site or a renovation of an existing one, the desired materials and colors, your design vision, and other important decisions.

The initial consultation and preliminary estimate are FREE of charge. First and foremost, we aim to understand your expectations, ideas, and desired outcome, and only then will we provide a corresponding preliminary quote for your project.

Production lead times depend on the current order volume and the company’s workload. The time required to install a grave site is also assessed on a case-by-case basis—it is determined by the scope of the project, the complexity of the design, the number of selected details, and the installation schedule.

A consultation is the first step toward a calm and well-considered decision. During the consultation, we can not only answer your questions, but also help you refine your idea, suggest the most suitable solutions, and assess what would best meet your needs, aesthetic preferences, and the surroundings of the gravesite.
